I’m a Huntington Beach mom who loves her family.  I’ve learned that the best gifts I can give to them are photo gifts – a thumb-drive containing boxes worth of old old photos, a coffee table book of a trip to England with the grandparents (bonus: give a copy to each family member – no extra work!), a metal print of my father-in-law’s favorite picture he’s ever taken (no, it’s not of a grandchild – it’s an eel with shrimp crawling in and around its mouth – he loves underwater photography!), a digital slideshow with pictures & videos of my daughter’s first year…

Christmas 2016, while visiting my husband’s parents family home, I took a big step and took ALL of their old photos, thousands of them, home with the intention of having them digitized & making more photo gifts.  I researched the options – there are many services where you can ship your images & have them digitized and returned.  But shipping seemed like a hassle, I wanted more control (that’s me!).  I wanted to be able to organize the photos into folders by year/event/etc (many of them were randomly thrown into boxes with absolutely no order or organization).  I was also concerned about the pictures being lost, especially because they weren’t mine.

So I bought a really good photo scanner, and I continued my photo editing education.  And now I have a local service to offer you: Photo Digitizing, Organizing, and Editing!

I use third-party sites like Mixbook, Costco, and Shutterfly to do the photo gifts, which you can easily do on your own, but if you have more money than time for the project, I can do it for you!
